Anouk van Ghemen

With over 11 years of experience in the film industry, Anouk actively supports a wide range of filmmakers and film companies as a financial consultant.

She has helped scriptwriters effectively sell their ideas/ scripts to potential producers, taken responsibility for the development and execution of projects’ financing strategies, managed production and distribution funding processes and built up the European business of a provider of GAP financing and cash-flowing services. 

In addition to her consulting work, Anouk has recently started to take on the role of an Executive Producer/ Consulting Producer. Her recent credits include titles such as “Kiss Me Before It Blows Up“ by Shirel Peleg and “Persian Lessons“ by Vadim Perelman, which celebrated its world premiere in the Gala section of the Berlin Film Festival 2020 and was Belarus' entry to the Academy Awards 2021. She also co-produced "House Arrest", the latest feature film of Russian director Aleksey German Jr., which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival in 2021.

Over the last one and half years, Anouk has set up a boutique agency for scriptwriters, actively supporting them in the development and financial packaging process of their original ideas. 

Being a passionate matchmaker and networker, Anouk has built up an extensive network of creative talent, producers and financiers across Europe and North America and is always on the lookout for interesting talent and stories with an international reach and a unique and touching message. 

She holds a degree in “International Economics and Management” (B.Sc.) from Bocconi University in Milan and is an active member of Women in Film & Television Germany, which she supported as a board member from 2015-2019.

She is based in Berlin and Milan.
